ASTEROID wins at Cine Junior 2022
Mehdi Hoseinivand’s highly acclaimed debut feature film, ASTEROID, is the winner of Youth Jury Prize at the 32nd edition of Cine Junior (February 2nd to 15th, 2022 / France).
The film has already won the Best Film Award in the Eastern Vista section of Fajr International Film Festival 2021 in its world premiere and then participated in the New Currents Competitive Section at Busan International Film Festival 2021 in its international premiere. Since then, ASTERIOD has been a part of the selection of prestigious festivals such as Filem’On (Belgium / CIFEJ Competition), Ajyal (Qatar / Mohaq Competition), Asia Pacific Screen Awards (Australia / Best Youth Film Competition), Olympia (Greece / Main Competition), Bastau (Kazakhstan / Main Competition), Dhaka (Bangladesh / Children Film Session) and Cine Junior (France / Feature Film Competition). In early March, ASTEROID will travel to Glasgow Film Festival for its UK premiere.
