THE SUN OF THAT MOON and BONE MARROW in IMAGO 2023
In the 2nd edition of International IMAGO Film Festival of Civitella del Tronto (July 27th to August 3rd, 2023 / Italy), Setareh Eskandari’s debut feature film, THE SUN OF THAT MOON, and Hamid Reza Ghorbani’s second feature film, BONE MARROW, will be screened in International Feature Films section.
THE SUN OF THAT MOON has been previously participated in International Film Festival of India – Goa 2021 (World Panorama), Iranian Film Festival Zurich 2022 (Main Competition), Within the Family International Film Festival 2022 (Main Competition), Les Rimbaud du Cinema (Main Competition), Sofia MENAR Film Festival 2023 (Focus on Iranian Women Filmmakers), “Flowers against Bullets” Film Festival 2023 (Nominations for Prize of Cultures, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actress, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Music Score), Women Media Arts and Film Festival 2023 (Feature Films Competition), Iranian Women Film Festival in Frankfurt 2023, Idromeno Independent Film Festival 2023 (Best Director Award) and International IMAGO Film Festival of Civitella del Tronto 2023 (International Feature Films).
BONE MARROW has already entered the official selection of Vancouver International Film Festival 2021, Iranian Film Festival Zurich 2022 (Main Competition), Asian Film Festival Barcelona 2022 (Official Section), Hanoi International Film Festival 2022 (Best Director Award, NETPAC Prize), International IMAGO Film Festival of Civitella del Tronto 2023 (International Feature Films) and Cinemalaya 19 – Philippine Independent Film Festival 2023 (Visions of Asia).
