Triumphant Night of CASTLE OF DREAMS in Shanghai
In the 22nd edition of Shanghai International Film Festival, Reza Mirkarimi’s CASTLE OF DREAMS made a hattrick winning three main awards.
The jury, presided by Nuri Bilge Ceylan decided to give three awards, including best film and best director (both to Reza Mirkarimi) as well as best actor (to Hamed Behdad jointly with the Chinese actor) for CASTLE OF DREAMS.
In its international premiere, Reza Mirkarimi’s new film gained the international recognition as a very important Asian contender in the upcoming film venues all through the world.
IRIMAGE presented three films – CASTLE OF DREMAS (Main Competition), MY SECOND YEAR IN COLLEGE (Panorama) and WE ARE ALL TOGETHER (Belt and Road) – in SIFF 2019 while Kamyar Mohsenin (Co-founder and Deputy MD of the Company) attended the event as a media jury member.
