SUMMERTIME wins an award at Golden Femi FF 2025
Mahmoud Kalari’s SUMMERTIME wins the Best Foreign Language Film Award in the 4th edition of GOLDEN FEMI Film Festival (June 2025 / Sofia, Bulgaria).
SUMMERTIME has previously participated in Fajr Film Festival 2024 (International Competition: Special Jury Prize, Interfaith Special Mention / National Competition: Best Makeup Nominee, Best Production Design Award, Best Costume Design Award, Best Sound Design Nominee, Best Cinematography Award, Best Actress in a Supporting Role – Diploma of Honor, Best Actress in a Supporting Role Nominee, Best Actor in a Leading Role Nominee, Best Script Nominee, Best Director Nominee and Best Film Nominee), Mostra – Sao Paulo International Film Festival 2024 (International Perspective), Bosphorus Film Festival 2024 (International Feature Film Competition), Dhaka International Film Festival 2025 (Asian Competition / Special Mention for the Best Director and the Best Actor Award), Pune International Film Festival 2025 (Global Cinema Program) and Rainbow Film Festival – London 2025 (Best Film Award).
