THE HUSBAND travels to Hof IFF 2026

At the 60th Hof International Film Festival (October 20th to 25th, 2026 / Hof, Germany), Ebrahim Irajzad’s film, THE HUSBAND, will premiere in Europe.

The film has previously participated in a number of film events such as Fajr FF 2025 (Best Actress Award), Dhaka IFF 2026 (Best Actress Award), Pune IFF 2026 and Slemani IFF 2026 (Jury Award, Best Script Award and Best Actress Award).

Now, THE HUSBAND is one of the 27 international feature films in the official selection of Hofer Filmtage, a festival founded in 1967 by a group of young German filmmakers, including Werner Herzog, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Wim Wenders, and Heinz Badewitz. Hof International Film Festival (Hofer Filmtage), which was named “H.ome O.f F.ilms” by Wim Wenders, has become one of Germany’s most important film festivals, focusing on discovering up-and-coming talent and including a forum for German and international independent filmmakers.
