THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE SUGAR CANES to compete in Within the Family 2024

Ebrahim Ashrafpour’s debut feature film, THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE SUGAR CANES, will be a part of the 19^th edition of Within the Family International Festival of Family and Children’s Films (July 6^th to 10^th, 2024 / Jaroslavl, Russia).

The film has been previously screened at Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People 2022 (Greek Film Critics Association Award), Dhaka International Film Festival 2023 (Cinema of World Section), Universal Kids Film Festival 2023 (Official Selection), Hof International Film Festival 2023 (Films as a Catalyst for Change: Politics, Social Issues and the Environment) and CMS, Lucknow International Children’s Film Festival 2024 (Official Selection).
