MAMAN and GISOUM to compete in Wales IFF
Two debut feature films, Arash Aneessee’s MAMAN and Navid Behtoei’s GISOUM, are included in the competition section at the 6th Wales International Film Festival (UK). The closing ceremony of the festival will be held on September 15th, 2022.
MAMAN has been the Best Actress Award winner at Fajr National Film Festival, a Debut Competition entry at International Film Festival of India – Goa and Official Selection of Moscow and Chennai.
GISOUM has participated in FIff – Fajr International Film Festival (International Competition), Geneva Oriental Film Festival (Competition), Within the Family IFF (Main Competition – Winner of Grand Prix and Best Cinematography) and Dhaka IFF (Cinema of the World).
Last year, in the Best Foreign Film category of Wales IFF, THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE and DROWN were awarded.
