Best Documentary Nomination for MATIN at AJR Vision 2025

In the first edition of AJR Vision – Festival de Cine Independiente (December 20^th, 2025 / Spain), Sam Soleiman’s MATIN has earned a Best Documentary Nomination.

With a special focus on the selected documentaries, the festival organisers believe that, “Documentary filmmakers bring something unique to a festival – the courage to observe, the patience to listen, the responsibility of carrying truth.”

MATIN has already been a part of the official selection at Kobani IFF 2025 (Quarter-finalist), HECare FF 2025 (Official Selection), Immagina Florence FF 2025 (Best Short Documentary Award), DokuBaku – Baku International Documentary FF 2025 (Special Mention of Dokushorts) and Jackson Doc Fest 2025 (Official Selection).
